Simple Zone
Simple Zone is a designated pantry featuring food items made without gluten or nuts (peanuts & tree nuts) in Miley Café.
We understand that dining with these common allergens presents many challenges, and we strive to provide an excellent customer experience to all guests.
Simple Zone accommodates students with dietary needs by providing food items that are prepared with precautions against cross-contact for students with gluten-related disorders (Celiac Disease, wheat allergy, gluten intolerance) & nut allergies. Items in Simple Zone may contain soy, eggs, dairy, fish, shellfish, or sesame.
This inclusive dining program allows guests to enjoy a wide variety of safe meal alternatives made without gluten or nuts that reflect offerings in the main dining hall to ensure a safe and low-stress experience. This supports our guests in getting the whole Salve Regina dining experience with the accommodations they need.

At Salve Regina Dining, we believe eating well should be easy and enjoyable. That’s why we proudly offer Mindful by Sodexo - a health and wellness approach designed to help you make smart, balanced choices without sacrificing flavor or satisfaction.
The Mindful program is built around four key pillars:
- Transparency of ingredients
- Balanced nutrition
- Satisfying portions
- Clear communication to support informed decisions
All Mindful menu items meet strict nutritional criteria, including:
- Limited calories per meal part
- Fewer than 30% of total calories from fat
- Less than 10% of calories from saturated fat
- Controlled levels of sodium and cholesterol
Keep an eye out for the Mindful icon on menus and specially-curated Mindful specials in our newsletters and menu boards to find healthy, delicious options that support your well-being.
Vegetarian
